Location/Directions
- Where? BLM Ridgecrest/Mojave (map). Located about 3.5 hours from Fresno, 2.5 hours from Los Angeles, and under 4 hours from San Diego.
- Where will we be camping? Located 15 miles south of Ridgecrest and 15 miles north of Ransburg, is “Prospectors Camp”. The riding in this area is amazing for expert racers and young beginners. With a mix of challenging rocks, groomed trails, sand washes and open dirt roads, this area has a great mix for everyone. Popular destination rides include the historic gold mining ghost town of Ransburg, Spangler Hills (aka Disneyland for dirtbikes), Wagon Wheel Campground, Teagle Wash, Goehler Gulch, the El Paso Mountains, and the X15 Memorial. Our camp site sits in the middle of a riding area that has a 360 degree riding zone for 20+ miles in ALL directions. A nearby hill with easy and hard trails to the top, offers an amazing panoramic view of camp and the entire area.
- Driving directions:
