Overview
These retreats are for young adults aged 18-30. We bring together like-minded individuals and groups from all over the West Coast (and beyond) to unite for a long weekend of amazing activities, great speakers, fantastic music, and more coffee and food than you’ll know what to do with. Join in the many activities of camp or if you’d rather simply hang out with friends and meet some new people we’ve got plenty of space for that as well.
So come reconnect with your friends and rekindle your relationship with God in a place free of distractions and surrounded by His creation.
IMPORTANT
Some older mapping services will suggest you take the 245. It is a curvy, winding road that will take you at least an additional hour. DO NOT take 245!
Check in starts at 3:00 PM the first day of the retreat.
You need to be checked out of your lodging by 11:00 AM the last day of the retreat.
We provide:
Dinner the first day of the retreat
All meals each full day of the retreat
Breakfast and lunch the last day of the retreat
We do not offer free guest WiFi at this point in time. We do offer Internet for a fee; however, the speeds here are not fast. Purchase at your own risk.
If and when you are needing to cancel any spots, it will forfeit the full deposit per spot for what the deposit is at the time of cancellation.
At this time, we do not have an electric charging station at Hume or outlets available for charging vehicles. We encourage you to fully charge your electric vehicle before heading up the mountain.
We want our retreats to be accessible to everyone! To help make this possible, Hume can accommodate gluten-free, dairy-free, vegan, and vegetarian diets. Because of the high cost of providing for dietary restrictions, there is an extra surcharge for these special diets. Please refer to our Dietary Restrictions Policy for more information.
Yes! Please bring your own linens. For a $25 fee, linens can be provided.
Hume Packing List Ideas:
Clothing
- Jacket (layers are helpful as the weather can be unpredictable)
- Long-sleeve shirts
- Pants/jeans
- Shoes (think outside camp in the mountains)
- Socks (bring extra)
- Sweatshirts
- T-shirts
- Underclothes
- Optional: Hiking shoes/boots
- Optional: Sandals (if you want them for the showers)
Toiletries
- Personal hygiene items
- Soap/shampoo
- Towel (if you’re not paying the extra fee for linens)

- Sleeping bag or twin linens for housing with bunk beds (if you’re not paying the extra fee for linens)
- Bug spray
- Camera (or smartphone)
- Flashlight (check batteries)
- Spending money (Hume accepts Apple Pay, Cash, Check, Mastercard, and Visa)
- Sunscreen
- Water bottle
- Weather dependent (gloves, rain/snow boots, snow chains, umbrella)
Note: There is no cell reception at Hume, but a smartphone may still be useful as an alarm clock, flashlight, and camera. Rooms have outlets, so don’t forget your charging cables. WiFi is available for purchase upon your arrival.
