2026 COUNTRY FAIR SCHEDULE

SATURDAY

September 5, 2026

Saturday is our classic Country Fair experience. This year we’re kicking off the day with a .46k Run! The day will be filled with fun, food, children’s games, crafts, slides, silent and live auctions, and NEW for 2026, and Online Auction. We’ll end the night with a family hymn sing with Brent Lamb.

Activities Available: Giant Swing, Archery, Meadow Ropes Course, Hatchet Throwing, Fire Engine Rides, Mechanical Buffalo, Shopping, Auctions, slides, Crafts, Bounce Houses, and Kids’ games.

2026 Live Auction

This is the most exciting event of the weekend! You won’t want to miss it. We have an amazing list of auction items this year, including a vacation package to watch the Long Beach Grand Prix, a beautiful commissioned Hume watercolor painting from artist Bob Plouffe, as well as returning favorites such as Wally’s Bowl and a vintage hand-carved Hume sign.
All proceeds from the weekend will go to our Campership Fund to help send kids to camp.

Brush Arbor

Worship

Formed in Southern California, Brush Arbor is a pioneering outfit that blended traditional bluegrass, country, and faith-based music. Originally performing as a family folk band, they renamed themselves in 1971 and signed with Capitol Records after winning a local talent contest. They went on to win the ACM Award for Vocal Group of the Year in 1974 and played the Grand Ole Opry. They transitioned into a full-time gospel act in 1979 and still stream their signature rich harmonies today. They are a nostalgic Hume favorite!

Brent Lamb

Worship

Brent Lamb is an award-winning singer, songwriter, and musician with over four decades of impactful music ministry. Well known and deeply loved by Hume alumni, Brent rose to prominence as a Christian recording artist in the 1980s and 90s, releasing 13 albums and scoring 14 #1 songs. He later reached new audiences as the lead touring singer for the Grammy-winning country group Shenandoah.
