2026 COUNTRY FAIR SCHEDULE
SATURDAY
September 5, 2026
Saturday is our classic Country Fair experience. This year we’re kicking off the day with a .46k Run! The day will be filled with fun, food, children’s games, slides, silent and live auctions, and NEW for 2026, an Online Auction. We’ll end the night with a family hymn sing with Brent Lamb.
Activities Available: Giant Swing, Archery, Meadow Ropes Course, Hatchet Throwing, Train and Trolley Rides, Mechanical Buffalo, Shopping, Auctions, Slides, Bounce Houses, and Kids’ games.
Rise & Roll 0.46K Run
The Rise & Roll .46K commemorates Hume’s founding in 1946. This fun run, just under a third of a mile, is perfect for runners, walkers, families, and cinnamon roll lovers. Each step honors 80 years of lives changed through Hume’s ministry. After finishing, collect your medal for $2 off a cinnamon roll at the booth and enjoy the Country Fair festivities!
2026 Live Auction
This is the most exciting event of the weekend! You won’t want to miss it. We have an amazing list of auction items this year, including a vacation package to watch the Long Beach Grand Prix, a beautiful commissioned Hume watercolor painting from artist Bob Plouffe, as well as returning favorites such as Wally’s Bowl and a vintage hand-carved Hume sign.
All proceeds from the weekend will go to our Campership Fund to help send kids to camp.
2026 Online Auction
The Country Fair fun doesn’t have to end when the weekend is over! The Country Fair Online Auction opens September 5 and stays open through 11:59 PM on September 13. Bid on unique items, experiences, artwork, Hume memorabilia, and more, all while helping provide camperships for kids who otherwise might not get to experience Hume. Every winning bid helps make camp possible for more campers!
SUNDAY
September 6, 2026
On Sunday, we will gather for a church service on Ponderosa Lake Lawn. Join us as we worship the Lord through song and share stories of God’s faithfulness over the summer of ministry! We will have food, activities, and adventures available and will end the evening with a free concert on the lawn, featuring special guest Big Daddy Weave.

IMPORTANT
Some older mapping services will suggest you take the 245. It is a curvy, winding road that will take you at least an additional hour. DO NOT take 245!
There is a non-refundable, non-transferable deposit of the first night’s stay due upon making a reservation. The deposit will be forfeited if a reservation is canceled.
At this time, we do not have an electric charging station at Hume or outlets available for charging vehicles. We encourage you to fully charge your electric vehicle before heading up the mountain.
