Summer Starts Here

Thank you, Ministry Partners, for the amazing encouragement and support you’ve given us after the winter storm!
After a thorough assessment, we estimate recovery costs at about $1 million.

While we’re grateful to have insurance, our deductible is $200,000, and several major expenses aren’t covered. One of the largest challenges is removing more than 200 fallen trees and branches across the camp, which requires specialized equipment and crews, but isn’t covered by insurance.

The storm has also created financial strain. We had to cancel a weekend of Winter Camp, resulting in lost program revenue, and the loss of Fir Lodge and the need to temporarily replace beds for the summer while a rebuilding plan is put into place (which means renting temporary restrooms and showers).

Even in stressful times, God’s grace is sufficient; we are deeply encouraged by the prayers and generosity of the Hume ministry partners. Praise God, we are able to move forward as planned with our spring season of School Camps and Adult Retreats. Your support helps us continue preparing the camp so that when campers arrive this summer, they will find a place where the Gospel is clearly shared and lives are transformed.
