About the Elementary Theme
With this theme we want students to understand the heart and character of God. In a world with so many different ideas and opinions about what God is like, we want to take students straight to the source to see the truth about who God is as shown to us in Scripture. Join us for an exciting journey through the story of the Exodus and see how God shows Himself to His people through His word, His actions, and the promises He keeps.
Theme Verse
And he passed in front of Moses, proclaiming, “The Lord, the Lord, the compassionate and gracious God, slow to anger, abounding in love and faithfulness, maintaining love to thousands, and forgiving wickedness, rebellion and sin. Yet he does not leave the guilty unpunished; he punishes the children and their children for the sin of the parents to the third and fourth generation.” Moses bowed to the ground at once and worshiped.
