For each week of camp, check-in begins Monday at 3:00 PM.

Monday afternoon is a great time for campers to do their swim test. Dinner begins at 5:30 PM and the counselor meeting begins at 6:15 PM.

Camp ends Saturday morning after breakfast.

Note: Individual campers must be picked up by 9:00 AM.

You will need to bring documentation of a health physical by a doctor for your camper from any time within eighteen months before the first day of camp.

Registration and payment are handled electronically through your online registration account, prior to check-in. Make sure you have completed all sections before camp. Bring any prescribed medications in the original containers and make sure they are listed in the medical section of your online account.

*Prescribed Medications, Vitamins & Supplements:
These will be collected and dispensed by the camp health center. We consider any vitamin, supplement, or over-the-counter therapy that is taken to treat a condition or maintain health to be a “medication”. We are not able to give a medication that we cannot identify and dose from the original container. Sending medication in anything other than the original container may result in the camper not receiving it.

We accomplish this not only through traditional programming — speakers, bands, campfires, and activities — but also through creative themes, full-production films, stage theatrics, innovative recreation, and dynamic worship.

Run Your Own Retreat

Our warm and friendly staff, quality facilities and pristine 425-acre property make Hume the perfect location for your next church or group retreat.

Our grounds and facilities are tucked away in the heart of the Berkshires of Massachusetts, situated between 1600 and 1800 ft. in elevation. A perfect location to relax, replenish, retreat, and reconnect.

We will walk through the entire planning process with you to help design the perfect experience for your group.

Deposit and cancellation policy

Deposits and Payments
  1. The first deposit will be $35/spot, due upon booking
  2. The second deposit will be an additional $100/spot (totaling $135/spot), due 130 days prior to arrival
  3. The third deposit will be an additional $100/spot (totaling $235/spot), due 60 days prior to arrival
  4. The final balance will be due four weeks prior to arrival
Cancellations
  • If and when you are needing to cancel any spots, it will forfeit the full deposit per spot for what the deposit is at the time of cancellation.

He also serves as the Executive Director of Onward, a leadership development and discipleship organization that helps train and develop young and emerging ministry leaders from all over the country.

Jeff Sanford

Speaker

Formerly the Wagon Master at Hume Lake’s Wagon Train camp, Jeff Sanford is now a high school teacher at Hume Lake Charter School. He started his youth ministry experience working at Skate Church in Portland, OR where his passion for teaching students ignited. He has a passion for the Lord and for clearly communicating the Gospel in a fun, clear, and creative way. He loves being with his awesome family, bird watching, hockey, skateboarding, playing music, and doing art.

Matt Berg

Speaker

Matt currently serves as a Campus Pastor and Young Adult Ministry director for the Well Community Church in Fresno, CA. Before that he was a youth pastor and a camp director at Hume Lake Christian Camps. He is married to his incredible wife Grace and together they have 2 daughters. His heart is to impact the next generation of Jesus followers and equip them to follow after the Lord passionately!

Dr. Erik Thoennes

Speaker

Erik Thoennes is Professor and Chair of the Theology Department at Biola University and is a pastor at Grace EVFree, La Mirada. He was voted Professor of the Year twice, and was awarded the Faculty Excellence Award by his colleagues at Biola University. He is the author of “Life’s Biggest Questions: What the Bible Says About the Things that Matter Most,” and “Biblical and Theological Studies: A Student’s Guide,” Erik and his wife Donna have four children; Caroline, Paige, Samuel, and Isaac.
