At Hume we care about providing the highest level of healthcare to our campers and staff. Check out this important info for everything you need to know about health and safety while at camp.
We want camp to be accessible to everyone! To help make this possible, Hume can accommodate gluten-free, dairy-free, vegan, and vegetarian diets. Because of the high cost of providing for dietary restrictions, there is an extra surcharge for these special diets. Please refer to our Dietary Restrictions Policy for more information.

Spiritual Direction
In a world where words are constant—spoken, posted, texted, and consumed at an overwhelming pace—we’ve slowly lost sight of their true weight. Words carry eternal significance, holding the power to bring both life and death. James 3 confronts the reality that our words are not small or insignificant; they are formative. They reveal what is happening within us, shape the people around us, and reflect the condition of our hearts before God. This winter, we are rediscovering the power of our words – the influence our speech truly holds, what it means to speak life in a culture quick to criticize, and how our words can become a distinguishing mark of those who follow Jesus. For followers of Christ, taming the tongue is an act of obedience. It is a daily surrender of our speech to the Lord, allowing Him to shape not just what we say, but how and why we say it. As we learn to align our words with His heart, our speech becomes more than communication—it becomes worship and obedience, reflecting His truth, grace, and life to the world around us.
Creative Direction
As words shape worlds, Ought Not will take students into the very pages of Scripture, revealing God’s intention for words and how He calls us to use them. Through a warm, paper-crafted animation, our narrator will unfold the story of creation, corruption, and the Word who became flesh and dwelled among us.
