Hume has been blessed to have Bob and LeAnn Mull at Hume SoCal. The Mulls are no strangers to Hume. They have made Hume Lake their home since 2001, diving into the community and life up at the lake. Bob was asked to lead the Hume Fire Department in 2002 and later helped to turn it into a formalized California state-recognized volunteer fire department.
Bob and LeAnn were also active as volunteers for many years at the lake with involvement in Adult Ministries, Romance Conferences, and summer staff. Bob went full-time in January 2015 in HR as the “on-site” risk manager and also oversaw the summer security and resident director teams as well as the summer counseling staff.
Bob stepped into the role of Assistant Site Director of Hume SoCal in September of 2021 and then became Site Director in 2022. Growing up in the San Bernardino mountains and having attended conferences at the camp in the mid-1990s, Bob felt a connection and was immediately at home in the community.
Bob and LeAnn look forward to passing the baton to the new Hume SoCal Site Director, Chad Castor, and using this next season to spend more time traveling and being with family, especially their grandsons! Bob and LeAnn, we cannot thank you enough for your time, talent, and love for this ministry. We know you will continue to stay involved but know that this season of serving at Hume has been invaluable!
