When is Virtual Winter Camp?

Virtual Winter Camp will be available online February 15

What is it?

Whether you’re at home or meeting with your church youth group, we’re bringing Hume Winter Camp to you! With chapels hosted by our camp directors, you’ll get to participate in worship, watch theme videos, and hear from Hume speakers. Our heart is to serve you and your youth group to the best of our ability during this unique time.

Our theme for Hume Winter 2021 is The Fill Full Fall.
Interwoven into the deepest fibers of our being is the desire to seek satisfaction and fulfillment. When we seek this in the things of this world, we fill ourselves with everything but the One who can truly satisfy us. Ultimately, if we are not filled with Christ, this world can only leave us with a false sense of satisfaction. We want to urge students to seek fulfillment in Jesus Christ by desiring to know Him more deeply, to become rooted and grounded in love and to be filled with all fullness of God, so that it overflows and falls on those around them.

Ephesians 3:14-19

For this reason I bow my knees before the Father, from whom every family in heaven and on earth is named, that according to the riches of his glory he may grant you to be strengthened with power through his Spirit in your inner being, so that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith—that you, being rooted and grounded in love, may have strength to comprehend with all the saints what is the breadth and length and height and depth, and to know the love of Christ that surpasses knowledge, that you may be filled with all the fullness of God.

Jonny Ardavanis

Speaker

Jonny works at Masters University in Santa Clarita as the Dean of Spiritual Development and Student Advancement. His passion is that people develop an intimate relationship with Jesus Christ as they develop a love for the timeless truth of God’s Word. Jonny is married to Caity Jean and enjoys working out, LAKERS basketball, and fried eggs.

Christopher Hilken

Speaker

Christopher is a teaching pastor at North Coast Church and also pastors the young adult ministry. His passion is seeing lives changed from a new identity in Christ. His commitment to doctrinally sound Bible teaching mixed with his challenging and energetic style makes his messages something that people from all walks of life can engage in. Christopher’s most important ministry is his marriage to his wife, Paige, and fathering their four children.

Caity Jean

Music/Worship

As a worship leader, Caity Jean Ardavanis’ heart is that the students would understand the truth that they are singing. She is passionate about communicating the gospel through song, word, and deed. She is eager to use God’s Word to share that we do not worship God solely through songs and melodies, but by offering our bodies as living sacrifices, holy and acceptable to Him. This is our true and proper worship (Rom.12:1). Leading worship alongside students is one of her greatest joys.

Phil Wickham

Musician/Speaker

Phil Wickham is, at his core, a humble and sincere artist who writes songs and worships God using the medium of music. It is with that brush that he paints images of a loving and creative God across the canvases of listeners’ hearts and minds. The evidence of this gift has been apparent on all of his critically acclaimed efforts: Phil Wickham (2006), Cannons (2007), Heaven & Earth (2009), Response (2011), The Ascension (2013) and Children Of God (2016). Phil is a gifted artist and songwriter with a true heart of worship.

Temitope

Speaker, Musician

Temitope (Teh-ME-toh-PEH) is a worship project based out of San Diego. The name, originating from the Yorùbá tribe, means “mine is praise” which is the heartbeat of this project. Every lyric, every melody and every note is offered as a praise offering to God. Temitope “Tobi” Peters is the son of Nigerian and British immigrants. He earnestly prays that through exercising his gift of music, he helps soften hearts to what the Spirit of God wants to do in and through the people of God today.

For All Seasons

Music/Worship

Our hearts are simple: We desire to live a life of worship throughout every circumstance. We want to live out the Gospel both on and off stage. We want to be a people who continuously choose joy. We don’t want to be wavered by the things of this world. We want to stand firm in who we are in Christ. We want to worship Jesus not for what He offers but for who He is.
