Dear Cabin Owner:

The Joshua Wilderness Institute is looking forward to working our 12th Annual Pine Needle Raking fundraising event! This important event allows some of our students to offset the cost of the different trips they will experience — Mexico, Dominican Republic, Inner-city Los Angeles, and Israel. (learn about our missions opportunities).

In order to better facilitate the pine needle raking process, we have moved to this online registration and payment system. Unfortunately, any requests and/or payments sent to either the Joshua Wilderness Institute or our Fresno Office directly cannot be processed.

As in past years, we will continue to limit the amount of lots we will be raking to a maximum of 60. Registration is on a first come, first serve basis. Unfortunately, the program only allows for a few days to complete the number of lots, so we’re restricted on the number of lots we can rake. Once the spots are taken…that’s it!

Weather permitting, we will be raking lots the week of April 1-4, 2019; but rain or shine, we’ll have them completed no later than the week of May 7 – 11, 2018. As soon as the lots are finished, you’ll receive a confirmation letter and/or email.

Just a Reminder

Please make sure to include your cabin lot number in the “Comment” field below. You still have the ability to receive a tax deduction and that will apply for any amount over $150.

Pricing Structure

$150 – Needle Raking Price
$200 – Needle Raking Price + $50 tax deductible
$300 – Needle Raking Price + $150 tax deductible
$500 – Needle Raking Price + $350 tax deductible
$1,000 – Needle Raking Price + $850 tax deductible
Other – this option is available but the minimum amount must be over $150.

On behalf of the students and staff here at the Joshua Wilderness Institute, we thank you for the opportunity to serve you and for supporting this crucial fundraising event!

If you have any questions, feel free to email us at

Blessings to you!
