Summer 2019

Why choose Meadow Ranch?

Clear Gospel Message

The gospel isn’t merely one ingredient in our programming mix. It’s the reason for everything we do.

Creative Theme

The theme is a practical link between the entertaining aspects of camp and our presentation of the Gospel. We leverage it as a background to Biblical truth.

Recreation

The high-energy, innovative games at Hume Lake give campers an outlet for their energy and counselors a chance to encourage team-building.

Activities

Hume Lake has an arsenal of activities for you and your students. Each afternoon during free time we PLAY.

Local Ministry

We believe youth pastors know their youth groups best. In light of that, we run camp in order to give youth pastors the freedom to focus on their students.

Dynamic Worship

Indoor worship, outdoor worship, corporate worship, devotional worship. Hume nurtures the attitude of worship from sunrise to sunset.

Amazing Location

It is a place of great natural beauty, with warm summer days, cool nights, an amazing lake and wilderness surroundings. God makes cool stuff.

“To the Meadow!!” Meadow Ranch is a phenomenal place for junior high (6th-8th grade) students to get away from the everyday distractions and into the quietness the Meadow has to offer and learn more about who God is. The relevant programming and passionate staff will help ensure your time in the Meadow will be life-changing.

IMPORTANT
Some older mapping services will suggest you take the 245. It is a curvy, winding road that will take you at least an additional hour. DO NOT take 245!

Spirit Day Theme

During Wednesday morning recreation we will kick it back to the old school days of relay races with insane amounts of fun and high energy. It’s the day in the week to dress up and go crazy with your Rec Team. So get together with your cabin and figure out how you want to come dressed!! The theme this year is Lions and Tigers and Jungle, OH MY! We look forward to seeing what fun things you guys come up with.

2018 Summer Theme

The most well known verse in the Bible is John 3:16, “For God so loved the world, that He gave His only Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have eternal life.” But has our familiarity of this verse caused us to lose sight of its significance? Do we fully understand God’s love and purpose for humanity from the very beginning of time? This summer we will focus on God’s redemptive plan throughout the grand narrative of scripture as He rescues His people from the curse of sin and will one day restore all things. Our hope is that as we seek to know God more, our love for Him will grow which result in a life fully surrendered to him.

Summer Band

Living Proof

Living Proof came together after connecting at Biola University over a love for God and serving and glorifying Him through musical worship. We believe that worship leaders have the privilege of leading God’s people not only in song, but into conversation with Him. Corporate worship is a unique space where we can present ourselves to God and remind ourselves of who He is and who we are in Him! Our hope is to invite people to see themselves as living proof of God’s grace and to respond in worship.
