Wildwood

High School Discipleship Camp

Summer 2018

Why choose Wildwood?

Clear Gospel Message

The gospel isn’t merely one ingredient in our programming mix. It’s the reason for everything we do.

Purposeful Worship

Campfire worship, morning prayer, and marveling at God’s creation. We nurture the attitude of worship from sunrise to sunset.

Group Initiatives

Collaborative, challenging and entertaining! Wildwood’s group initiatives provide a context in which campers learn to balance their passion for the objective with compassion for their peers.

Activities

We have an arsenl of activities for you and your students. Each afternoon you'll enjoy traditional camp favorites as well as exciting new activities!

Local Ministry

We believe youth pastors know their youth groups best. To that end, we run camp in order to give youth pastors the freedom to do what they do best: shepherd their students!

Rugged Location

Hume is a place of great natural beauty, with warm summer days, cool nights, an amazing lake and wilderness surroundings. God makes cool stuff.

Overview

Wildwood is Hume Lake's discipleship camp for students who wish to push themselves beyond the familiar into a world of exceptional devotion to God. Wildwood's philosophy of stripping away the layers of falsehood and distraction is evidenced in daily interactions and candid discussions about students' lives, struggles, and answering God's call for deeper devotion to Him. Set in the back forests of Hume's property, Wildwood emphasizes overcoming obstacles and learning to discipline oneself in response to the challenges of life.
