Overview

The Women's Retreat provides a weekend with new and old friends sharing times of fellowship, reflection, and laughter. We stop at nothing to provide solid Biblical teaching, fabulous food, a variety of recreational activities, craft sessions and inspiring worship.

Speaker

Katie Quesada serves as the Lead Life Groups Pastor and oversees Women's Ministry at Fellowship Monrovia. She graduated from Vanguard University and began her masters at Fuller Seminary. Before coming to Fellowship Monrovia she served as a Youth Pastor in Orange County for 6 years. Katie and her family live in Monrovia, CA. She loves being a part of the vision and mission of the Church and loves telling the greatest story of all, the Gospel.

We provide:

Dinner the first day of the retreat

All meals each full day of the retreat

Breakfast and lunch the last day of the retreat

Is there Internet?

We do not offer free guest WiFi at this point in time. We do offer Internet for a fee; however, the speeds here are not fast. Purchase at your own risk.

When can I sign up for next year's retreat?

If you are attending the retreat, we give you the opportunity to sign up for the following year at the retreat. We then open up registration for everyone else soon after the retreat is over (usually a week from the end of the retreat).

Activities

Here at Hume, we absolutely love activities of all kinds. Scaling cliffs, jumping from trees, shooting stuff, driving wild roads, exploring mountains, and of course sport competition—the list is long and FUN.

Self-provided housing is for those who do not need Hume housing for the retreat but have instead arranged their own lodging at privately-owned cabins in the area. Please note that RV parking and tent camping are not available on Hume property.

The Hume Fire Pit is a newsletter & events email of all things Hume. It includes stories, discounts, videos, photos, event invitations, news, project updates, and support opportunities. You’ll receive an update or two each month with the full newsletter arriving quarterly.

The purpose of meetings, seminars and activities at Hume Lake Christian Camps is to educate and inspire attendees with Biblical teaching and instruction. We also desire to follow government guidelines which require attendance at meetings for organized camps and educational organizations. Your participation at these meetings is necessary for us to accomplish these goals. Please plan to attend all meetings.

Hume Lake Christian Camps operates outfitting and guiding services and recreational events in the Sequoia National Forest under a special use permit with the United States Forest Service, and does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, or national origin.
